HW: Moment of Inertia and Rotational Kinematics - Glow
This assignment was a homework that was assigned to show our abilities in solving problems on the topic of Moment of Inertia and Rotational Kinematics. While this was a difficult topic, this homework assignment demonstrates my learning of this topic. Multiple equations were used to solve the problems such as angular acceleration and arc length. What I enjoyed the most about this homework was solving for one thing with givens that are substituted into multiple different equations, making it into a process. Overall, this homework demonstrates my understanding of the Moment of Inertia and Rotational Kinematics and has been a major help in learning these topics. While this homework assignment may have been time-consuming, it was a learning experience that made Physics easier.
Quiz: Circular Motion and Rocketry - Grow
This assignment was a short quiz on the topic of Circular Motion and Rocketry. Following the recent homework assignment, Moment of Inertia and Rotational Kinematics, this quiz was a continuation of our lesson of Rotational Kinematics. In the quiz, we were to determine which of the equations of circular motion were which, in which I did well on. I was also able to find the angle of a disc and radial and tangential acceleration with givens. However, further into the quiz, there was a conceptual question which I answered incorrectly about whether radial acceleration or tangential acceleration was greater. This question demonstrates my understanding of physics conceptually as I find solving for numbers easier. However, my mistakes on this quiz serve as a learning resource that I can look back on and teach myself on the topic.
