Log ECR - Glow
This ECR tested my knowledge on logarithms as it asked me to identify the different parts of exponential functions and convert them into logarithms. I was able to determine the meaning of (1 - p) which is the decay factor and solve for the unknown decay rate of an exponential function. I also needed to find the time it would take for one gram to remain, in context of the problem. By doing this, I converted the exponential function to a logarithm. I was successful in this ECR as I correctly answered all questions, with showing my work.
Logarithm Test - Grow
This was a test on logarithms. This test consisted of problems like converting logarithms to exponential forms, expanding or condensing log problems, and creating exponential functions based on the given word problems. I did somewhat well on the test as I was able to answer most questions correctly, however, I did struggle on some others. This test demonstrates my strengths in being able to condense and expand log problems and identifying variables. What I did not do so well on was making exponential functions correctly as I only put expressions instead of functions. I also misunderstood a question that asked to solve how long it would take for a car to depreciate by $9,000, when I mistook it for how long it would be until the car reaches $9,000. However, I have learned from the mistakes as I can use them to improve on future tests.
