AA 1-D Motion Lab Report - Glow
This assignment was a lab report of the lab that my group and I conducted on the concept of 1-Dimensional Motion. For this lab, we were to investigate one-dimensional motion of an object with constant acceleration and to learn how to determine the values of velocity and acceleration from displacement and time measured in this experiment. To conduct the experiment, we used an inclined plane and a moving cart. We theorized that the increase of the angle of the ramp will increase the velocity of the cart. My theory was proven to be correct as the results had shown so. Overall, this experiment was a success as we followed the procedures as instructed and received expected results.
Projectile Motion - Grow
This assignment was a homework that was assigned to show our abilities in solving projectile motion problems. We were initially introduced to the topic of one-dimensional motion with the kinematics equations. Using the kinematics equations, it can be transitioned to projectile motion equations to solve problems regarding the topic of projectile motion. To solve the problems, I first identify the givens and what principle needs to be solved. These helped me in determining which equations to use. The most challenging part, however, was having to use multiple different equations for one problem which was slightly difficult to figure out. Another challenging part was identifying what needed to be solved which were the physics principles. Overall, the challenging aspect of this assignment has helped me understand the concept a little better.
