Pneumatic Part Feeder (VEX V5) - Glow
This project required us to design a pneumatic-powered system as if we were a manager at an engineering firm, tasked to reduce injuries associated with the manual feed of parts. This assignment was a group project as each group member was assigned a role, which my role was building and coding the system. The system consists of VEX V5 materials and two syringes connected through tubing, so that it creates pneumatic power. The role of the system is to have each block pushed towards each other to be lateral by a syringe, from a stack of blocks. The syringes were moved by a motor, which was programmed on VEXcode V5. The system also has a railing surrounding it to represent the safety of the workers. This project was a success as the system was able to perform the task and meet the project's requirements.
