A Raisin in the Sun: Character Analysis Essay - Glow

For this assignment, we were tasked to write an essay based on our reading of A Raisin in the Sun. The essay needed to be a character analysis of our chosen character from the novel. For the analysis, I chose Walter Younger to explain how his character development was used to demonstrate the importance of moral responsibility. This character analysis has given me a better understanding of the characters in the play, especially Walter Younger, as his character development throughout the play was used to show his role as the leader of the household. My use of evidence were effective as they support the thesis statement and the topic sentence of each paragraph. While I do have some errors in my punctuation, this essay was successful as it shows my strength in analyzing characters.

Long Way Down: Elevator Notes - Grow

This assignment is a template used to organize our analysis of each new character that gets introduced in our reading, Long Way Down. This assignment gives me a better understanding of each character and their purpose in the story. For each slide, the template needs to be filled for each character that gives the name of the character, a symbolism, a quote that tells something about that character, and a quote that tells something about their relationship to Will. What I could have done differently in this slide that covers chapter 7 of Long Way Down is to provide a better explanation of my chosen quote. A better and more thorough explanation would have shown my complete understanding of this chapter's character, however, every other question was answered accordingly.
