Trench Warfare and New Weapons - Glow

This assignment is one of my best works from Marking Period 1. This was a group project in which we were tasked to collaborate and share our knowledge on trench warfare, during World War I. Our project was a combination of an essay and a presentation for the class. This assignment showcases my ability to work with other people and my collaboration skills. Our score on this essay shows how well my group and I responded to the prompt, collaboratively. The most enjoyable part about this project was to be able to successfully discuss with my group about what our roles were going to be and acting on them. Our cooperation has led us to get a perfect score of 97 on our essay.

Was Reconstruction a Success or Failure? - Grow

This assignment lies into the assignments that I could have done better on. Although I did get a good score of 95, there were still things that I could have mentioned in this essay to have better feedback. This essay was solely based on our learning of Reconstruction and its effects. We were tasked to use our knowledge of what we have learned to create an essay responding to the prompt. The prompt asked for us to show how Reconstruction was a success or failure politically, socially, and economically, in which I explained for both sides. Looking back on my essay, I did well on how Reconstruction was somewhat a success and failure in terms of politically and socially, however my response to economically was weak. I did not have a full understanding of how Reconstruction was, economically, at the time, as my evidence and reasoning was not strong enough. This essay was written for only the duration of the class time. If I had prepared beforehand, then I possibly could have done better with evidence and reasoning. Regardless of that, this assignment has improved my knowledge in Reconstruction and could serve as an example to help with future assignments like this.
