Radicals Authentic Assessment - Glow

For this assessment, we were tasked to find the value of x by solving radicals. While solving for x, I ended up with a quadratic function, which led me to use the quadratic formula to solve for x. This ended with two solutions, however, I had to plug in both solutions into the equation to find the real solution. I had to use a calculator for this step. While this was a difficult task, this assessment has improved my understanding of solving radical equations, getting me a score of 100. This assignment showcases my strength of solving problems algebraically.

Exponents Authentic Assessment - Grow

For this assessment, we were tasked to simplify the given expression. I was not too successful on this assignment as I did not end up with the correct answer. My mistake was that I did not understand the power of a product rule at the time, which had gotten me the incorrect answer. Other than that, I had no problem with the other rules. We were, however, given a similar assignment in which I improved.
