Israel Palestine Report - Glow
This assignment was a News Story assignment that counted as a quiz grade. For the topic of this news story, we were tasked to discuss the current events of the Israel-Hamas war. A minimum of three sources was required as I spent a great amount of time researching the background behind the Israel-Hamas war and what is currently happening. With my research, I was able to write a paragraph of a minimum of eight sentences discussing the prompt of the story. Overall, I was able to follow the rubric by showing proof of research along with an in-depth analysis. My writing demonstrates my skills in addressing the prompt and researching.
Unique Story - Grow
This assignment was a writing assignment about our lesson of the Silk Road. For this assignment, we were tasked to write a short unique story of two paragraphs, using at least 10 vocabulary words that we learned in our lesson. My unique story was about a father and a son traveling along the Silk Road to trade goods at the time of the bubonic plague. This writing was not my best performance as I do not have much of a great skill in writing fictional stories. What I could have done better in this story is having smoother transitions throughout the events in the story and making my story more engaging. However, I was able to meet the requirements of writing 2 paragraphs, using 10 vocabulary words given to us. Overall, my writing could have been better as my flaws will help me improve on my future fictional writings.
