This assignment is one of my best works from Marking Period 2. This essay is written about the 2022 Mid-Term Election facing a high number of young voters and reflects on the significance of that event. Time and effort was clearly put into this essay as it showcases several of my strengths in writing. My strengths used in this writing is addressing the prompt and using evidence and reasoning, which scored high according to the rubric. The most enjoyable part about doing this task is researching and learning more about how the democracy works.

This assignment is similar to a group work task however, everyone was graded individually. In this task, we were to have a class discussion about Madison's Federal Negative and analyzing the problems that faced the nation in 1786 - 1787. According to the rubric, it was clear that I understood the topic well as I presented accurate information, however, what could have made my performance stronger is active participation. I participated in the discussion quite a few times however, it was not enough as I need to improve on that.

The Law Day Project is an assignment that was to be submitted into the Superior Court of New Jersey--Essex Vicinage Law Day Competition. For this assignment, students were given a choice to discuss about one of the four topics given. In this assignment, I explained the topic of the second amendment and answered if the country would be able to agree on a legal framework to address security, safety, and individual gun rights. My writing showcases my ability in understanding and explaining the second amendment as well as considering the state of our community now, it would be unlikely that everyone would be able to agree on a legal framework. My evidence and reasoning was effective in this assignment.

This assignment covers the topic of womens rights. Several documents were give to read about how women abolitionists fought slavery and we needed to use the given documents to write an written response. In the writing, I discussed how the abolitionist movement led to the early women's rights movement. My strengths in writing were showcased well however, I need to improve on organization according to the rubric. This assignment was also timed therefore, I also need to work on writing essays within a timed limit.
