What I know: 

Despite not having experience teaching in a classroom or in setting with children yet, I know that children are very inquisitive and perceptive. I have to be confident in the content I share and aware of how it will affect the students I teach. I also know that I must be inclusive and makes changes when necessary to prevent unintentional biases and exclusion. 

To be an effective teacher I need to be open to learning from my students. I believe compassion is an important aspect of teaching for me, so I hope to share my ideas on the compassion we should have for our students with my classmates. 

The link for comments was not working for me. I loved reading your introduction page- the bingo was very neat! I also enjoy seeing future educators being honest about the things we still have to learn. So many of them are not things we will be taught in college, but will have to gain with experience.
