Note: The titles and names used in the following guide are examples and the actual title/name may differ depending on your portfolio assignment.

Step 1: On the system homepage, in the progress tab located on the left side, you will be able to view the group for your portfolio assignment.

Step 2: To see your portfolio assignment, click into your group.

Step 3: After clicking into the group, you will find the portfolio assignment screen. This is where a student can add content, submit their portfolio to be assessed and graded, and view their graded portfolio.

Step 4: To navigate through the contents of the portfolio, you can select a tab which will direct you to that component of the portfolio. You can also scroll through the page to navigate through the portfolio as well.

Step 5: Some of the aspects of your portfolio may be to upload files, such as evidence or artifacts, and add text such as an entry slip or a hyperlink.

Step 6: In the upper right corner of the portfolio, there are three options to select from: Submit, Save, and Cancel

SUBMIT: Select submit if you are ready for your portfolio to be sent to your assessor for grading.

Note: *ONCE YOU SUBMIT YOUR PORTFOLIO, YOU WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO EDIT OR SEE THE RUBRIC*

SAVE: Select save if you wish to preserve the content you have added but are not ready to submit.

CANCEL: Select cancel if you wish to exit out of the portfolio without saving your changes.

Step 7: On the right side of the portfolio assignment page is the assessment panel. This panel holds the details for the rubric for each of the components required for submission in the portfolio. Below is an example of how an assessment panel may look. Once the portfolio has been graded by the assessor and sent back to the student, the student will be able to view their graded rubric in this section. Go to Reviewing Portfolio Feedback for further instructions on viewing graded portfolios.
