Navigation Games has several computers; see the tracking page for more info on specific computers and their location.
Starting from a Windows laptop:
Download Chrome; log into the worker@navigationgames.org account within Chrome. This will bring in Chrome settings for that account.
Follow the instructions provided here to install: Java, EasyGecNG, and SPORTIdent USB driver. As of 3/31/25 we are using Release v.1.1.1. Additionally, Install SI Config+ from the SI Software page.
Create a desktop shortcut for the .bat file. Create a folder named "Orienteering Courses" with folders for Animal-O New, Animal-O Classic, and Basketball-O inside. Populate those folders with the correct courses, downloaded from the Public drive.
Test EasyGecNG to make sure it works by plugging in a download, loading a course file, and checking to see if the SI sticks/cards get read correctly.
