The following financial systems are used:

Quickbooks

QuickBooks is an accounting and business management software developed by Intuit. It runs the day-to-day financial operations for Navigation Games. NG uses the following functionalities in QuickBooks:

• Invoicing and Payments: Create, customize, and send invoices, and accept online payments via credit card, ACH, Apple Pay, or PayPal.

• Expense and Cash Flow Tracking: Automatically sync bank and credit card accounts to track spending, categorize transactions, and monitor real-time cash flow.

• Bookkeeping and Automation: Use AI-powered tools and rules to automate recurring billing, data entry, receipt capture, and bank reconciliations.

• Financial Reporting: Generate balance sheets, profit-and-loss (P&L) statements, and tax-ready summaries to make informed business decisions or share data with an accountant.

Access: Internal accountant, President, ED, Treasurer, Bookstime team

Note: The Bookstime team have access through an account that is connected to the firm console. They manage the appropriate access for the team through the console.

Gusto 

Gusto is an all-in-one online platform that automates and manages payroll, employee benefits, human resources (HR), and compliance.

• Payroll Services: Runs unlimited payroll for W-2 employees and 1099 contractors, calculates wages and overtime, issues direct deposits, and auto-files federal, state, and local payroll taxes (including Forms W-2 and 1099).

• Employee Benefits: Administers health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) retirement plans, workers' compensation (via partner NEXT Insurance), and commuter or flexible spending accounts. [This functionality is not currently used]

• HR & Hiring: Offers tools for job postings, digital onboarding, electronic document signing, time tracking, employee handbooks, and access to certified HR advisors. [NG uses the time tracking functionality.]

• Gusto Wallet: Provides employees with a mobile app for early direct deposits, pay management, automated savings goals, and a fee-free debit card.
