André Romano Alho @ MIT
Abstract:
How do you predict the impacts of E-commerce growth, Automated Mobility on Demand or Vehicle-To-Everything communications on the mobility system and its relevant agents? In this talk we will be presenting SimMobility, an agent-based land-use and mobility simulation laboratory that can be used for such purpose.
We will take the perspective of a "SimMobility user", focusing on:
SimMobility capabilities and what it can be used for
Required inputs
Process of running experiments
Outputs
To better illustrate it, the presentation will include a guided demo detailing the process of setting up an experiment, which will focus on Automated Mobility on Demand.
