• Pumpkins: Purchase pumpkins from your local store or online, for example at Autumn Harvest Pumpkins. 

• Painting Kits: Purchase pumpkin painting kits (acrylic) locally or online along with paint brushes

• Markers: Purchase markers that are well suited for pumpkins (e.g sharpies, acrylic markers)

• Stencils: Purchase pumpkin painting (Halloween) stencil sets locally or online 

• Table cloths: Purchase pumpkin themed table cloths  

▢ Source Food & Drink

• Order beer, wine, and other drinks through a delivery service like Uber Eats or source them through the local beverage store. Estimate 2 alcoholic drinks per attendee and ensure you have non-alcoholic options available as well.

• Purchase Halloween candy, cookies, and/or cupcakes from your local grocery store. 

▢ Set Up the Event

• Set up a few tables with tablecloths in your common area of choice. 

• Place pumpkins on one table, so residents can pick a pumpkin easily.

• Place one paint kit, stencil set, and market set on each table. 

• Place paper plates for paint, paper towels, and a few cups with water on every table for cleaning brushes.  

• Set up a table exclusively for the drinks. 

• Search for a Halloween themed playlist to provide music during the event.
