▢ Source a Vendor:
Hire a vendor who offers whiskey tastings in your area. Inquire at a nearby bar or restaurant about a tasting event or seek out online resources for whiskey sommeliers:

▢ Source Desserts & Drinks:
Desserts: Whiskey goes well with almost any chocolate. Find a local chocolate shop and purchase a variety of chocolates to go with the whiskey. If you choose to hire a vendor, ask the vendor for recommendations. Some options are:
Milk chocolate with fruit and nut (pair with whiskey that’s light, floral, fruity)
Salted caramel (pair with whiskey that’s saline, maritime)
Dark chocolate with dried fruit (pair with whiskey that’s dark, rich)
Orange chocolate (pair with whiskey that’s smooth, toffee, orange citrusy)
Dark mint chocolate (pair with whiskey that’s peated, medicinal, smokey)
High fat content desserts – like crème brûlée, bread pudding, ice cream, custard, and shortbread
▢ Set Up the Event:
Set up tables and chairs for the guests & decorate the tables according to the season.
Place the whiskey to taste on a table with the vendor/pourer & tasting cups
Present the desserts on the same or a separate, long table with utensils, napkins, and plates.
Ensure you have multiple trash and recycling receptacles available throughout the common space.
