Assessments

1. HiSET Free Practice Test 8 has been added for all clients who have HiSET on their agency assessment list.  The assessment is located on the Add Assessment drop-down list:

   •  HiSET-> HiSET / Free Practice Test -> HiSET / Free Practice Test / FPT 8 

Search

The Student Diagnostic Search row "Students Not NRS Participants" was returning students incorrectly.  This has been corrected.  

NRS Table Fixes

1.  An issue with Table 2A continuing to include students whose only current FY activity was an assessment that was later deleted has been corrected. 

2. Table 4B was including students whose initial assessment was Alternative ABE or ESL later pre and post tested in another subject area.  This has been corrected.  Note that there is no row on Table 4B for reporting students whose initial entry level populated from an alternative assessment. 

NRS Table Updates

Per the NRS, changes have been made that affect 23/24 reporting going forward.  These changes are included in the updated NRS Technical Assistance (TA) Guide.

1. The new measurable skill gain Type 1d allows for students to achieve an EFL gain for passing ANY subject area of an approved high school equivalency (such as HiSet or GED) on or after the PoP Start Date but before 6/30.

2. Students can now attain an EFL gain MSG for enrolling in Postsecondary Education or Training at any time after their Period of Participation Start Date rather than only after their PoP Exit Date.
