This release includes improvements to reporting performance, student hours processing, compliance accuracy, and system stability, along with updates to state-specific workflows and integrations.
LACES reports now run in the background so they no longer lock your browser or time out while you wait.
Long-running reports no longer block your session from other activity, allowing you to navigate away and continue working in LACES while reports run.
A progress window shows report status: Queued → Running → Completed / Failed / Cancelled
A Recent Reports area shows your recent report runs, including status, run time, and a Download link when ready.
Completed reports are stored securely and can be downloaded immediately at completion or later, at your convenience.
You can cancel reports that are Queued or Running; cancelled reports show a Cancelled status and do not produce output.
Lets you keep working in LACES instead of waiting on a single long-running report.
Provides clear visibility into report progress and history.
Makes it easier to re-download recent report outputs without re-running the report.
The Period of Participation (PoP) Summary now shows attained dates for Measurable Skill Gains (MSGs) instead of Yes/No values.
What’s Included:
MSG Type columns now display Date Attained, No, or blank instead of Yes/No
Applies to all MSG Types, including pre/post testing, credits, transition, and HSE subtests
New fields support searching and reporting:
A display field showing Date Attained, No, or blank (matches the PoP Summary)
A Y/N field that preserves Yes/No values for existing views and reports
A Date Attained field for date-based filtering
The new Date Attained fields are not included in default views and must be added to custom views
Existing views and reports continue to function using the Y/N fields

Student Import SSN Validation (LA-22228)
Student Import now rejects masked Social Security Numbers and prevents invalid updates.
Dynamic Detail View Error (LA-22230)
Fixed a NullReference error that occurred when certain sections were missing from dynamic detail views.
Messaging Duplicate Sends (LA-22175)
Corrected an issue where duplicate student records could result in multiple messages being sent to the same recipient.
Allow Download of Documents with Unicode Characters (LA-21709)
LACES now stores files names exactly as they are when uploaded and allows them to be downloaded by the same name.
Asynchronous Report Running (LA-22180)
Reports can now run in the background, allowing users to continue working while reports process. A Recent Reports panel shows status, provides download links, and allows cancellation of running reports.
Allow Import of Hidden IET MSG and Postsecondary Values (LA-21985)
Imports now accept IET MSG and Postsecondary Education/Training values even when hidden in choice lists. These values remain unavailable for manual selection in the interface.
NRS MSG Type 1d Update (LA-21575)
Logic has been updated to prevent the same HSE subtest from counting multiple times toward MSG Type 1d across fiscal years. Current-year data has been corrected where applicable.
Student Hours Sync Improvements (LA-22214)
Updates have been made to improve performance and reduce deadlocks during student hours processing and assessment synchronization.
Connectable Integration (LA-21994)
A scheduled integration has been added to exchange students, classes, enrollments, and attendance hours between LACES and Connectable.
