Release Date: November 7, 2025
LACES version 2025.19.0 includes key customizations such as state reporting updates and new integrations, expanded import capabilities to improve data accuracy and completeness, and multiple backend enhancements to strengthen system stability, monitoring, and performance. Several issues affecting imports and state-specific processes have also been resolved to ensure smoother and more reliable operations for all users.
The Copy IDs feature helps you work smarter in LACES by making it easy to move between related datasets without exporting or reformatting information. Whether you’re cross-referencing students with assessments, linking staff to classes, or reviewing enrollments, this feature keeps your workflow quick and consistent within the system.
How It Helps
Copy and reuse IDs instantly: IDs are copied from the selection of records at the grid. You can select records individually by checking the box next to specific rows or batch select all visible records by clicking the + icon at the top of the grid. Once selected, click the More toolbar button and choose Copy [area] IDs to the clipboard. Paste those IDs directly into another area’s search using the In the list operator.
Eliminate manual formatting: No need to export data or use external tools. IDs are automatically copied in a comma-separated format, ready for search.
Streamline cross-area lookups: Quickly find all records tied to a group of learners or classes. For example, copy Student IDs from the Student grid and search for those same students in All Assessments or All Hours.
Support communication: If you have a question about a selection of students, you can also use this feature to send IDs to LACES Technical Support to help them review your data more efficiently.
Work at scale: Copy and search up to 10,000 IDs at a time to manage large datasets efficiently.
With Copy & Search IDs, you can explore related data across LACES more easily, save time, reduce manual steps, and keep your workflow smooth and connected.
