This release adds a faster way to record IET outcomes when completing a class, expands PoP/MSG export data and CASAS scoring accuracy, speeds up slow-running NRS Table drilldowns, and includes several reliability fixes for reporting, assessments, and background jobs — along with targeted fixes for state clients.

New Feature Highlight:
Save IET MSG and Postsecondary Credentials During Class Completion (LA-22682)

When completing students from a class, you can now enter Individual Employment/Training Plan (IET) Measurable Skill Gain and postsecondary credential information right from the class completion screen — instead of opening each student's record separately afterward.

What's Included:

• The IET/WPL MSG Type dropdown next to the existing IET dropdown on Class Intake and Class Detail now supports all MSG Types, not just Type 5

• New fields for IET MSG and Postsecondary Education/Training appear as batch-edit options when completing students from the class enrollments tab, for any selected student enrolled with an IET

• Fields pre-fill from the class's IET defaults when set, and can be reviewed or overridden per student using "Show Selected"

• Completing the class now saves an IET MSG — and a Postsecondary Education/Training record, if filled in — for each selected student in a single step

Why It Helps:

• No more entering the same outcome data one student at a time after completing a class

• Lowers the chance of a class outcome being recorded without its matching IET MSG or credential

• Uses the same fields and required-ness you already know from Student Detail > Outcomes, so there's nothing new to learn

🚀 New Features & Enhancements

Outcome Dates Added to PoP/MSG Data Export (LA-22607) — PoP/MSG data exports now include the date each outcome was achieved, alongside the existing yes/no flags — for example, the date a secondary credential was attained, not just whether it was. This covers 20 outcome fields in total, including level gains, measurable skill gains, postsecondary entry, and post-exit employment and credential outcomes. Previously you could only tell whether an outcome happened; now you can also analyze when, for trend reporting and cross-referencing with other data sources.

✨ Improvements to Existing Features

CASAS Lower-End Estimate Scores (LA-22525) — Following a CASAS scoring policy update, students who score in the bottom range of Reading GOALS 2, Math GOALS 2, Reading STEPS, and Listening STEPS (Levels B–E) can now receive a valid scale score and NRS level instead of an unscored result, for their three highest raw scores in that range. This applies going forward to assessments entered or imported on or after July 1, 2026; no retesting is required, and earlier records are unaffected.

Faster NRS Table Drilldowns at SEA Scope (LA-22979) — NRS Table drilldown searches (Tables 4, 4A, 4B, 4C, 8, 9, 10, and 11) could take several minutes to return results at SEA (statewide) scope, most noticeably in Georgia. These drilldowns now return in a fraction of the time, with no change to the results shown.

🐞 Bug Fixes

NRS Table 6 Drilldown Error on Highest Degree Level TOTAL (LA-22933) — Clicking the drilldown on the "Highest Degree Level of School Completed" TOTAL in NRS Table 6 returned an error instead of the underlying student list. The drilldown now returns the correct students, consistent with other NRS Table 6 drilldowns.

Workshop Enrollment Deletion Error (LA-22945) — Deleting a workshop enrollment from the student enrollment tab failed with an "Ambiguous match found" error. Enrollment deletion now completes successfully.

Workshop Enrollment Date Edits (LA-22938) — Changing the Enroll Date or Start Date on a student or staff Workshop enrollment could trigger an unexpected error when the workshop's Program was set to "No Value Entered." This is now handled correctly, and existing affected enrollment records have been corrected.

Instructional Hours Not Following a Moved-Forward Assessment (LA-22915) — When an earlier assessment was moved forward to become the new pretest (because it placed a student at a higher level than a later assessment), Instructional Hours Since Last Assessment in Subject Area stayed attached to the wrong assessment. This could cause eligible students to be missing from the posttest-eligible Student Alert. The hours now follow the correct assessment, and affected students appear on the alert as expected.

Training Agencies Incorrectly Restricted Like Parent Agencies (LA-22868) — Training/sandbox agencies were being treated as parent (SEA) agencies, which disabled Add on several Funding-tab grids (Funding Streams, Enrollment Targets, IETP Measurable Skill Gain Credential Targets) and other sections such as DRC TABE Mapping. Training agencies now behave like normal provider agencies for data entry in these areas.

Portal Student Birthdate Timestamps Affecting DRC Matching (LA-22963) — A small number of Student Portal-originated records (59 students across 11 states) had a non-standard time value stored with their date of birth, which caused DRC integration matching to fail for those students. Affected birthdates have been corrected, and DRC matching now works as expected for these records.

🛠️ Technical Changes

Report Rendering Reliability (LA-22899) — Large PDF report renders (such as ClassAttendance run across many class sections) previously built the entire output in memory on the shared background job host, which could exhaust available memory and interrupt scheduled jobs — reports, imports, Student Portal intake, and messaging — for all clients on that host. Report rendering now streams to disk instead, containing the impact of an oversized render to that one report run.

Student Portal Application Data Integrity (LA-22949) — Corrected an edge case where a rare failure during portal application intake could leave a new student record in LACES without its corresponding application record, silently breaking reconciliation and the Cross-Agency Tracking auto-link for that applicant. No user-facing behavior changes.

Reporting System Configuration Integrity (LA-22905) — Added database-level safeguards to prevent duplicate fiscal-year configuration records, which could otherwise interrupt the nightly Data Warehouse load for the affected client. No user-facing behavior changes.

Content Security Policy Update for Google Tag Manager (LA-22973) — Updated content security policy settings to properly allow Google Tag Manager. No user-facing behavior changes.
