Once you’ve selected the candidate you want to hire, you can mark them as Hired in HRGP. This keeps your hiring pipeline accurate and clearly shows which applicant accepted the role.
Marking someone as Hired ensures your reports, workflow progress, and applicant tracking reflect the final hiring decision.
Mark an applicant as Hired after:
The candidate has accepted the offer
All background checks are completed
The start date is confirmed
This step closes the hiring process for that applicant and records the successful hire in HRGP.
Follow these steps to mark a candidate as hired in HRGP.
Go to ATS → Applicants.
Find the applicant you want to hire.
Click More Options (⋯) on the applicant’s row.
Click Hire from the drop-down.
In the pop-up, click Yes, Hire Applicant to send the new hire an email invitation to join your company database as an employee.
The new hire will receive the invitation at their personal email address with instructions to begin the onboarding process.
After an applicant is marked as Hired:
The applicant is removed from the active applicant list.
The hire is recorded in your hiring reports.
The hiring workflow for that applicant is completed.
The applicant is moved to Invites under the EMS (Employee Management System) page.
💡 Tip
Once an applicant is marked as Hired, they automatically receive an email invitation to join your company database and begin the onboarding process.
