This guide walks you through how to create your first job posting in HRGP. Don’t worry about getting everything perfect — you can edit your job at any time after it’s created.
Most users complete this process in just a few minutes.
Start by navigating to the job creation screen.
Click ATS → Job Postings in the main menu
Click Add Job in the top-right corner
This opens the Add New Job page.
Begin by entering the core details for your job.
Job Code (Automatically Assigned)
HRGP automatically assigns a unique job code by default.
👉 You can leave this as-is.
Optionally, enter your own internal reference code if needed (example: TECH-001).
Position Title
This is the job title candidates will see (example: Service Technician).
Guided Hiring Workflow (Optional)
If you don’t want to use Guided Hiring yet, select None from the dropdown.
👉 You can enable or change this later at any time.
Pre-Screening Form (Optional)
Pre-screening forms send applicants an automatic follow-up email with additional questions after they submit their resume.
👉 You can skip this for now and add it later.
Pre-screening forms are not required, and some applicants may not complete them. They work best when you want extra information before moving candidates forward.
Next, provide details about job requirements and compensation.
Minimum Experience
Enter the number of months of experience required.
Pay Range
Enter the minimum and maximum pay, select currency, and choose the pay type (hourly, yearly, etc.).
Job Opening Date
Choose when the position starts.
Job Location
Job locations are pulled from the addresses you set up during Phase 1: Company Profile.
You can select:
Your Primary (corporate) address, or
Any Branch address
💡 A branch does not need to be a physical office. Branches can represent a city, service area, or market where you want the job to appear.
Job Owner
Can view the job and send emails to applicants. Receives notifications if no Job Communicator is assigned.
Job Communicator
The primary contact for this job. Receives all applicant notifications and can reply to candidate messages.
👉 Must have their email connected to HRGP.
Add details that help candidates (and HRGP AI) understand the role.
Skills
Select skills related to the role to improve AI candidate matching.
👉 You can update skills later.
Job Type
Choose one or more:
Full Time
Part Time
Remote
Contract
Internship
Volunteer
Job Description
Include:
About the company and location
Job responsibilities
Required skills
Work schedule
Compensation and Benefits (if applicable)
Clear job descriptions typically attract better applicants.
JobTarget helps distribute your job to multiple job boards automatically.
If you turn JobTarget ON:
Your job can appear on external job boards
You may receive more applicants
All applicants are still managed inside HRGP
If you leave JobTarget OFF:
Your job remains available on your HRGP career page
You can still share the job link manually
👉 You can safely skip JobTarget when creating your first job and enable it later.
These settings help HRGP understand what type of candidate fits the role.
You can adjust the desired levels of these Big Five Personality traits on a scale of 0 to 100:
Openness
Reliability
Energy level
Teamwork
Emotional stability
👉 If this feels unclear, skip it for now. It’s optional and can be updated later.
When you’re ready:
Click Submit to post the job
Click Cancel to exit without saving
After submission, your job will appear on the Job Postings page, where you can edit it at any time.
If a job is later marked Inactive, you can repost it at any time from the Job Postings page.
To repost an inactive job:
Go to ATS → Job Postings.
Switch from the Active Jobs tab to the Inactive Jobs tab.
Locate the inactive job in the list.
Click the Re-post Job icon (third icon) to reopen the job.
Edit the job if needed and enable JobTarget if you want the job distributed to external job boards.
Click Save.
Reposting a job does not remove or change existing applicants.
Once the job is set to Active, it will appear again on your HRGP career page and any job boards you add through JobTarget.
