SP5: Would you like to study abroad? / School Life
SP6 What kind of tourist are you? / Holidays Introduction
During the fifth study period - Learners will build on what they have learned in Cohort 7 in SP4. In this study period they will develop a much deeper understanding of the French school system, the differences between the English and French school systems and be able to express their opinions in detail about all aspects of school life.
During the sixth study period -Learners have looked at travel before and learnt the names of countries and languages. They have investigated the landscape and landmarks of a French-speaking country and learnt some key phrases to describe places. In this study period, they will delve deeper into the language around describing holiday experiences using a range of tenses, expressions, time phrases, adverbs, if clauses, opinions and an enriched vocabulary range.

Written Assessment to be marked formally and written feedback provided at the end of each study period
C9 Exam including reading & listening
Guidance:
Learners will receive guidance in a variety of ways. These include marked assessments, including feedback in books, 1:1 interaction, vocabulary tests, self & peer assessments of class tasks
