Course overview - Study Period 5 and 6
During the first half term - Learners will be introduced to the first non examined assessment (NEA) RO33: Supporting individuals through life events where they will first be looking at the growth and development of individuals across life stages with a focus on physical, intellectual, emotional and social development.
During the second half term - Learners will continue exploring this unit but will now be introduced to factors that impact on growth and development, such as social factors and environmental factors. Learners will be exploring how location can impact an individual's lifestyle and how they develop intellectually and socially.

Half term one - summative assessment focusing on RO33 Topic Area One: Life stages and key milestones of growth and development for age groups
Half term two - summative assessment focusing on RO33 Topic Area One: Factors affecting growth and development across the life stages

Learners will receive guidance in a variety of ways. These include marked assessments, reports, feedback in books, whole class feedback, Google Quizzes, Google Classroom.
