Course overview - Study Period 1 and 2
C9 will continue their foundation course skills this term by studying a ‘Painting and Drawing Portraits’ module. They will be developing their artist research skills (practising how to present these in a visual and engaging way) before moving onto two new skills: life drawing and photography. They will also undertake lessons on adding tone with pencil and paint, mixing skin tones and grid drawing. These skill will aid their progress throughout their GCSE course.

Guidance:
Learners will receive guidance in a variety of ways. These include marked assessments, reports, feedback in sketchbooks and verbal feedback, 1:1 interaction, Google Classroom.
