Hello, everyone!

I hope everyone is doing well, even though there has been Covid-19. I am happy that 2020 is finally over and I wish that coronavirus will end in 2021.

As students, we need to set new goals for ourselves to achieve. Let me tell you two of my goals. My first goal is to obtain a better grade in English, so I started to read some English books every day for 1 hour. Also, I started writing words that I don’t know and search for the definitions. Every Sunday, I will practice spelling by having a spelling test for myself. I will also set a target number of words that I have to learn every day to remind myself that I still need to explore more words within a day.

I believe year 2021 is going to be a better year. I hope that when the vaccine is available in Hong Kong, everything will return to normal. Lastly, I wish everyone a happy new year and I hope to see you soon.

Hello everyone!

Year 2020 was not as well as planned. I’m so glad that it is finally over. It’s a brand-new start for us! Hope you and your family a better year in 2021. Let’s stay safe and happy.

Even though we mostly see each other online rather than face to face, we must still remember to maintain a good relationship with peers and teachers! We should keep up our learning attitude for our upcoming classes and exams! This year, I have set a few goals for myself that I would like to share with you all.

My first goal is to have better self-control. Being a student leader, it is important to have self-control. When I am at home, I will spend the spare time doing extra practices instead of playing video games. Setting a timetable or making a checklist also helps me a lot. I would advise all of you to prepare well for all your upcoming quizzes, tests, and exams before you enjoy some entertainment.

My second goal is to look on the bright side of situations more often. I’m a rather pessimistic person. I always crush people’s beliefs by using phrases like, “Oh well that's never going to happen”, “You’ve got to be kidding about that”, or even, “That’s absolutely too much imagination.” Now thinking about it, I realized it’s actually okay to perceive things beyond their current situations. I believe that the joy of childlike beliefs in surreal situations or imaginative items is rewarding. Perhaps someday, those “beliefs” will come true! Well, what are the odds?

Finally, I hope to see all grade 1-5 schoolmates come back to school with us. The school has been so empty without you! Year 2020 has definitely been the worst, so year 2021 is only going to be better. Remember, every day is a new day! If you have messed up today, there’re always second chances tomorrow. See you soon!
