Environmental Habitats: Rainforest, Savanna, Desert and Freshwater
Students are required to present a notebook to jot down notes they find useful.
After learning the background knowledge of habitat including environmental characteristics, flora and fanua, and the problems faced, students designed a poster on the habitat.
Students spent time on making animals and plants that can be found in the habitat with modelling clay.
Each group has to collaborate on a Google Slide for the showcase presentation on the designated themes.
The slides including (1) Introduction, (2) Environmental background, (3) Flora, (4) Fauna, (5) Problem and solution, and (6) Reflection.
Students are designing posters with specific themes to welcome guests. By reading the posters with specific kinds of animals and plants, guests will have a basic concept which habitat the group is going to focus on.
Each group will be presenting on aspects including environmental background, flora and fauna, problems encountered with solutions, as well as reflection.
HOT Skills involved: Mind map and tree diagram, simple data analysis
