Thanks for the Great Year!
Time flies when you're having fun, and this year has flown! That's because of the TERRIFIC students we had in RLA. Thanks so much to you and your family for taking a difficult situation and making the most of it. The kids were positive and perservered. They should be very proud of themselves.
Have a fantastic screen-free summer together!
Awards
Although 8th grade has a ceremony, typically awards for 7th graders are handed to kids during an all-team gathering. Students' End-of-Year Completion Letters, Esquire Awards, and Principal's Award were not distrubuted during our in-person gathering. We were considering it, but so many kids were walking, riding bikes, skateboarding, leaving at different times... We just didn't want their hard-earned awards to become crumpled or dropped! You can drop by your school Monday - Fridays between 8:00-2:00 through June 11. If awards are not picked up by June, they'll be at the school in the fall!
Report Cards
You can view/print your final 2020-21 Report Card from Progress Book on June 5.

We are finishing strong and reading Ground Zero aloud by Alan Gratz. The cliffhangers (sometimes literal) have kept us hanging in suspense throughout the book! Students have also reflected on their favorite independent reading book and completed a slide about their chosen title. We are sharing these in class before our last day as a way to share book titles with others for some go-to reads this summer! I encourage your child to continue reading all summer! It's been a great year and we've reached the finish line!
Thanks for a great year. Here's a "walk down memory lane" in Tweets about science class this year. #KarrerRLASci7.
Its been a weird and crazy year! We are finishing strong with electric circuits as students use online labs to practice. I've so enjoyed getting to know these students as we traversed this RLA experience together. Its been a challenge for everyone, but we made it!
Thank you for a wonderful year! It was (we hope) a once in a lifetime experience. We made it through with grace and a sense of humor. A historical event that you will share with your kids and grandkids. Have a nice relaxing summer. ALOHA!
Have a good day, be good friends! Thanks for a great year... I am proud of each of you and wish you all the best next year.
We made it through our topics! Have a great summer, good luck next year!

Hello :)
I would like to thank you and your kids for a fantastic 4th quarter! I asked the kids to give me their best effort and that is what they did every single day! I appreciate their hard work, flexibility and willingness to learn in the online environment. I know it is not easy but they all did a great job completing the units and assessments assigned. I hope everyone had fun and felt they improved/ learned new skills this quarter!
I hope you all have a great summer and stay active!!!
Miss Reamer :)
