CSM School Safety
The physical and mental wellbeing of the students under our care continues to be our top priority. CSM has several safety measures in place every day to increase campus security. Our entire campus, inside and outside, is monitored 24/7 by a robust security camera system We have an on-site armed security guard who patrols the school campus and monitors the cameras for the entire school day. All exterior doors at CSM are locked. Guests and visitors are only permitted entrance through the front doors, and all guests and visitors must use the intercom to gain access to the front lobby. Classroom doors are equipped with security locks (meaning they lock from the inside) and by policy, classroom doors are to remain locked for the entire day. All students pass through a uniform check every morning on their way into the building and backpacks are required to be stored in student lockers during the school day.
Even with these safety measures in place, we are asking our entire community to remain vigilant about reporting any suspicious behavior to any member of the CSM Faculty & Staff. Parents are encouraged to be involved and aware of their child's online and social media accounts and interactions. Parents can contact our Dean of Students (rkizer@collegiatememphis.org) to report any suspicious behavior.
Spirit Week
Next week starting on September 24 is our Fall Spirit Week. Students are permitted to dress out of uniform, according to an approved daily theme,Tuesday through Thursday. Students who are participating in the themed dress out days must pay $1.00 each day to participate. Spirit Week culminates in our annual Day of Service and Fall Carnival on Friday, September 30.
Day of Service
Friday, September 27 is our annual Day of Service, Fall Carnival, and High School Homecoming Dance. All students must return their permission slip to be able to participate in the Day of Service. In the morning, students will serve at various non-profit organizations in the community as assigned with their Community Groups and return to CSM for the Fall Carnival in the afternoon. Students cannot be checked out from school while they are with their community groups serving in the community; please plan accordingly. High school students who are going to Homecoming Friday night must be present all day Friday, September 27.
High School Homecoming
Next Friday, September 27 at 7:00pm is the High School Homecoming dance. Tickets are $30 and are being sold during lunch, and in the business office. Come make some lasting memories!

CSM Sweatshirt or Long Sleeve T-Shirt Sale
Collegiate is offering scholars and family members an opportunity to purchase Collegiate School of Memphis spirit shirts. Order forms were sent home with scholars today. If you are interested in purchasing a sweatshirt or long sleeve t-shirt for anyone in your family, please complete this order form and return it to the Business Office. You may also place your order online by clicking the link below. Payments for your order must be made by Friday, October 18, 2024 or your order will not be processed. Networking our CSM Talents
We would love to showcase our parents and their businesses. If you have a business that you would like other parents and staff to know about, complete this form and we will share it each week in our newsletter and with our Faculty & Staff. Examples include, but are not limited to: house cleaning services, construction and repairs, hair and makeup, catering, yard service, legal service, carpentry, masonry, etc. This list will allow our CSM Community to support each other when we need to hire a professional.
SGA Candy Gram
Scholars buy a candy gram for yourself or a peer during the SAG fundraiser. You can buy a Candy Gram during lunch, sales end on Wednesday, September 25.
Taste of Latin America
It is almost that time of the year when we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month through our Taste of Latin America event. It is such an exciting time and great opportunity to celebrate cultures from CSM through food, music, and fellowship. Please join us for the Taste of Latin America event and share your culture and traditions with us. You are welcome to bring your native cuisine in the form of appetizer, main dish, side dish, or dessert. Please click here to sign up today.
2024-2025 School Calendar
As you are considering traveling out of town and making appointments during the 2024-2025 school year, please plan around our school calendar. It is important that students do not miss school for appointments and travel. Absences during first and second semester exam weeks will not be excused.
