It is with much excitement to inform you that our first whole week of school was a success! We are glad to see our scholars once more and hear about the adventurous summer that they had. Don't forget Monday, August 19th is picture day. Come prepared wearing your "chapel" uniform and a smile.

School Picture Day
Next Monday, August 19th, is School Picture Day. Scholars must wear their "chapel" uniform to take their school picture. Click here for a copy of the Professional Appearance Policy with a description of the Chapel uniform expectations. Picture forms were sent home Monday, August 12. For those who would like to purchase school photos, these forms must be returned to the front desk completed by August 19. Payments must be included in the envelope. Extra forms are located at the front desk if you need a new one.
Middle School Social
Calling All Middle School Scholars, Next Friday, August 23, 2024 from 5pm-7pm is the Middle School Social. This event is free to all Middle School scholars. Join us for Fun, Food, and Fellowship. This is a great event to get your year started at CSM. Come have fun with your friends! Food is provided but concessions will be sold.
Networking our CSM Talents
We would love to showcase our parents and their businesses. If you have a business that you would like other parents and staff to know about, complete this form and we will share it each week in our newsletter and with our Faculty & Staff. Examples include, but are not limited to: cosmetic industry, food service, yard service, legal service, carpentry, masonry, etc. This list will allow our CSM Community to support each other when we need to hire a professional.
AP Course Fees
We are pleased to offer AP Classes. Our scholars have been working hard on their classes and we offer these classes at a lowers cost. If your scholar is taking any AP classes this year, a $50 fee per class has been billed to your account. You can pay this fee on our website or in person. The AP Class Fees are due no later than August 30th.
Scholar Grades
Grades are updated every Monday night. Parents are encouraged to check their student's grades every Tuesday morning for the most up-to-date grades. Parents should contact their child's teacher through email if they have any questions about grades. If they cannot access their gradebook, email CSM Registrar, Ms. McCann.
Parent University First Meeting
Are you a parent or guardian? Would you like to know how to support your CSM Scholar or find way to support CSM?
We invite you to attend our very first Parent University August 29, 2024. Come learn about how to support your Scholar and ways to volunteer.

Sports, Clubs, & Organizations | 2024-25
We have an awesome variety of activities for your student(s) to get involved with this year. There is an activity for every student to enjoy. Encourage your student to join a sports team and an extracurricular club or organization. Joining at least one will increase your student's sense of belonging in our school community and will provide additional opportunities to enjoy friends. It is a great way for students to challenge themselves by trying a new activity or remaining committed to one. Click here to view the list of sports teams, clubs, and organizations.

Student Finance Announcements
If your scholar is participating in Advanced Placement (AP) classes this year, a notification was emailed to parents about the class fee. Each AP class costs $50 and is due by August 31, 2024. You can make your payment on our school website, your Tuition Management portal, or in the Business Office. If you have any questions or concerns, contact Ms. Alvarado (talvarado@collegiatememphis.org).
2024-2025 School Calendar
As you are considering traveling out of town and making appointments during the 2024-2025 school year, please plan around our school calendar. It is important that students do not miss school for appointments and travel. Absences during first and second semester exam weeks will not be excused.
