Our Co-Curriculars: Clubs + Athletics
Last year, we had roughly 83% of students involved in at least 1 club or sport at CSM. We hope for every student, 100%, involved in a club or sport. Students gain so much from getting involved (leadership, friendship, perseverance, joy...). Please encourage your student to attend our Club+Sports fair after school Friday, August 21 from 3:45-4:15p.

Out of Uniform | 901 Day Tue, Sept 1
Students who pay $1 can participate in this fundraiser for the 2027 SOS Field Trip. Participants can wear a 901 or Memphis shirt or sweatshirt with their CSM-compliant pants/skirt and shoes.
Merit Madness Wed, Sept 2
Students who have earned a "Merit Madness" t-shirt during the '26-'27 school year are permitted to wear their '26-'27 Merit Madness t-shirt with their uniform-compliant pants/skirt and shoes.You earned it—now it’s time to REP IT! Policy Highlight | Absences & Attendance
Middle School students with twenty (20) or more absences for the year in any given course/grade level may not be considered as successfully completing that course or grade. High School students with five (5) or more absences, on average, per semester from any single course may not be considered as successfully completing that course for credit. Violation of this policy will result in a student’s case being presented to the Student Retention Committee to determine whether a student is eligible for promotion and/or to attend Collegiate the following year.
It is important for families to understand not only the attendance requirements, but also which absences may be considered excused. Please review the complete attendance policy in the Family Handbook below for more information.

Our Christian Environment: Rooted to Grow (R2G)
As part of our Christian environment, each teacher opens every class with a Bible devotion and prayer. This year, at least one teacher per grade level is leading your student through Rooted to Grow (R2G) to begin their class, and we want to invite you to be a part of R2G at home (or in the car or anywhere else with your child).

Families are invited to engage with the same verses throughout each week. Here are some examples of how this may look:
Read the verse together and take turns reciting it
Use one dialogue question as a dinner table conversation starter
Pray a monthly prayer before bed or in the morning
Write the verse somewhere visible, like on the fridge, a mirror, or a whiteboard
Ask your student what they are learning about the verse in class
There is no pressure to do it perfectly, or for you to be a professional. Every conversation, every recitation, every prayer is an investment in your child’s faith formation and your family’s life together.

2026-2027 School Calendar
As you are considering traveling out of town and making appointments during the 2026-2027 school year, please plan around our school calendar. It is important that students do not miss school for appointments and travel. Absences during first and second semester exam weeks will not be excused.
Please note the dates for Spring Break 2027 have been updated on the Academic Calendar to match M-SCS. Spring Break 2027 is March 15 - 19, 2026.
