CSM Theatre Department’s 2024 Spring play Video| The Plot Like Gravy, It Thickens
"The Collegiate School of Memphis Theatre Department's spring production, The Plot Like Gravy, It Thickens, was a delightful and witty exploration of comedy and mystery. This fast-paced, hilarious play kept audiences on the edge of their seats with its clever twists and quirky characters. Under the direction of our talented Theatre Department, students showcased their incredible acting, timing, and teamwork, creating an unforgettable experience for all. The production highlighted the hard work and dedication of our students, and we are proud of their commitment to bringing such an entertaining performance to the stage. Parent University | November Recap
During our Parent University Meeting we talked about many things the following is a summary of all the things that we talked about. We first went over the calendar and reviewed important dates that are coming up if you would like stay in the loop you can always check our school calendar by clicking here.
We also had the opportunity of meeting our Dean of Student Achievement, Ms.Schaffer and she also gave us tips on how to support each scholar as exams are approaching.
Here are some Review Strategies:
Encourage your student to go to tutoring
Encourage your student to study in short chunks of time
15 minutes of study, 5 min break, 15 minutes of study etc
Make study cards - question on one side and answer on the other
Ask your student to explain to you what they are studying
Encourage your student to sleep 8 hours
Encourage your student to eat breakfast each day
You may check with your student’s specific teachers for their exam information

CSM Theatre Department’s Fall play | Facing Up by Cynthia Mercati
CSM Family, get ready for the CSM Theatre Department’s Fall play! The theatre department will be performing a play named Facing Up by Cynthia Mercati on November 21st and 22nd in the CSM cafeteria at 6 pm. Facing Up is a witty and relatable play that explores the everyday lives of high school students. With humor and heart, Facing Up is a coming-of-age story that resonates with anyone who's ever felt lost or out of place in high school, offering an honest look at the struggles, friendships, and challenges that shape the journey to adulthood. Tickets are $7 (buy 5 get 1 free) and are on sale now at the front desk.

As you are considering traveling out of town and making appointments during the 2024-2025 school year, please plan around our school calendar. It is important that students do not miss school for appointments and travel. Absences during first and second semester exam weeks will not be excused.
