CSM Tech Fee
Greetings Collegiate Family,
Reminder, each student is now charged with a yearly $50 Technology Fee as stated in the CSM Family Handbook (Page 39). This fee supports the maintenance and sustainability of our student technology program.
Families have the option of paying $50/year or $25/semester. The first payment is due by Friday, October 3, 2025. Please note: If you previously purchased a computer warranty in 2023 or 2024, you are not required to pay this fee this school year.

Day of Service & Fall Carnival
Dear parent or guardian,
On Friday morning, September 26th, the entire Collegiate School of Memphis student body will be taking part in the inaugural CSM Day of Service. The CSM Day of Service is intended to expose CSM scholars to what God is doing in the city of Memphis and give each scholar an opportunity to participate in that work. Our prayer is that God will bring our Collegiate community closer together and that our scholars develop a life-long love of serving others.
Scholars will be transported by bus to various ministries, non-profits, and organizations around the city and will perform service projects at those locations. Each location will be supervised by Collegiate faculty and staff. We are excited to have the opportunity to serve our city together as a community. Possible service projects include cleaning, painting, organizing, landscaping, and litter removal. Scholars should wear their Day of Service 2025 Collegiate shirt along with long pants and shoes they do not mind getting dirty. They
are also encouraged to bring work gloves or gardening gloves if they have them.
The school day will begin normally with scholars reporting to Community Groups before 8:15 a.m. Scholars will then travel to their worksites and will return to Collegiate by 11:30 p.m. for lunch and a school carnival. Dismissal will be at 3:30 p.m. as usual. Permission slips will be going home with your scholar on Tuesday, September 16th and will need to be turned in by Tuesday, September 23rd, 2024. Scholars will return the permission form to the front desk.

Out of Uniform | Hispanic Heritage Thursday, September 16
Participants can wear a Hispanic Heritage shirt with their CSM uniform compliant pants or skirt and shoes. There is no cost to participate.
Virtual Learning Day | September 15
In order to stay up to date on virtual learning best practices and provide all CSM scholars with structured remote learning opportunities, CSM has incorporated three (3) Virtual Learning Days into our school calendar. Our next Virtual Learning Day will be Monday, September 15. On this day, all students are required to join their Community Groups virtually at 8:15 a.m. Students do not need to come to the school building and may complete their assignments at home.
However, students who need a focused work environment are welcome to come to school and complete their virtual assignments here at CSM. Breakfast and lunch will be served as usual. The Business Office will also be open from 8:00–11:00 a.m. and 1:00–4:00 p.m
Taste Of Latin America | Thursday, September 18

This special evening is a time for us to come together, celebrate our diversity, and connect with one another on a deeper level. Policy Highlight | Cell Phone/Electronic Device Policy
The Collegiate School of Memphis recognizes the need for students to possess cell phones immediately after school to coordinate transportation, to contact parents in light of schedule changes, or to make calls in the case of an emergency. While the school seeks to accommodate the student use of cell phones after school, cell phones and other electronic devices can pose a significant disruption to the smooth operation of the school day and have a negative impact on a student’s ability to focus in class.
Students may bring their cellphones to school, but all phones and electronic devices are to be turned off and stored in the designated storage locker for their grade level from 8:15 am until 3:30pm. Students may only use a cell phone in the hallway or locker area after 3:30pm dismissal. Students will not be allowed to wear technology at school that accesses the Internet, makes phone calls, sends or receives text messages, takes pictures, or interacts with apps. To limit suspensions which can academically hinder a student’s progress, if this policy is violated, the phone or device will be confiscated and returned after seven (7) school days to a parent or guardian with a copy of the Cell Phone/Electronic Device Policy and an outline of policy violation consequences. If a student refuses to surrender the phone or device, further disciplinary consequences may result.
2025-2026 School Calendar
As you are considering traveling out of town and making appointments during the 2024-2025 school year, please plan around our school calendar. It is important that students do not miss school for appointments and travel. Absences during first and second semester exam weeks will not be excused.
Please note the dates for Spring Break 2026 have been updated on the Academic Calendar to match M-SCS. Spring Break 2026 is March 16 - 20, 2026.
