ESA | Quarter 1 Payment Due
For Parents in the ESA program:
Your student’s ESA scholarship has been placed in your E-Wallet. Throughout the year, you will “make a payment” four times through your E-Wallet in order to submit your scholarship to the school. The first quarter payment is now open for you to complete.

Meet our CSM School Counselor
Hello! My name is Trista Tate and I am the new Counselor at CSM!
I am a Licensed Masters Level Social Worker and a Licensed School Social Worker. I have been working in schools in the Memphis area for about seven years now! I love the work I get to do with students, teachers, and families. I look forward to continuing to meet the students and families as I begin my journey at Collegiate. Virtual Learning Day
Monday, September 16 is a Virtual Learning Day. All students will be required to join their Community Groups virtually at 8:15 a.m. Students do not need to come to the school building--they may stay at home. However, students who need a focused work environment do have the option to come to school and complete their virtual assignments here at CSM if they prefer. For students who come to school in person on Virtual Learning Day, breakfast and lunch will be served as usual.
CSM Athletics

Immunizations
Parents,
The Tennessee Department of Education requires that all schools comply with the requirement of T.C.A. §49-6-5001 that each child in the school be vaccinated against disease. The Collegiate School of Memphis is complying to and following Tennessee state government regulations but also wants to ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff of Collegiate.
7th grade students at Collegiate:
The requirement of the Tennessee Department of Health states that all students entering 7th grade must provide proof of:
Hepatitis B vaccine
Tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis booster ("Tdap")
Verification of immunity to varicella (2 doses or history of disease)
Proof of vaccinations on the Tennessee Department of Health CERTIFICATE OF IMMUNIZATION form is required for all 7 graders, and the Complete 7th Grade or Higher box must be checked. This form is available from your student's personal physician or from the health department.
Students not in compliance/who have not provided the indicated immunization documentation by Friday, October 4, 2024, will not be allowed to attend school-physically or virtually - and all computer accounts will be suspended until the form is provided. Any school days missed due to non-compliance will be unexcused.

ACT Parents Meeting (For Parents of 11th Grade Students) | August 28 @ 5:30pm
Attention all 11th grade parents:
We are looking forward to seeing you and your scholar at CSM's Junior ACT Parent Information Night. The event will be held this coming Wednesday, August 28th from 5:30-6:15 pm in the Collegiate cafeteria. This is an opportunity for you to learn more about CSM's ACT preparation initiative and how your scholar's ACT scores will impact their college success. Light refreshments will be provided. Please let Mrs. Schaeffer know if you cannot attend.
Little Cougar Apparel
It's never too early for your littlest ones to become Collegiate Cougars. This year for a limited time, Collegiate is offering "Little Cougar" sport sets for $10. Stop by the Collegiate merch store on Monday, Thursday, or Friday from 3:00-4:00 in the gymnasium to purchase some Collegiate gear for your younger children. Available sizes: approximately 3T - 5T.
Middle School Social

This is a great event to get your year started at CSM. Come have fun with your friends! Food is provided but concessions will be sold.
Scholar Grades
Grades are updated every Monday night. Parents are encouraged to check their student's grades every Tuesday morning for the most up-to-date grades. Parents should contact their child's teacher through email if they have any questions about grades. If they cannot access their gradebook, email CSM Registrar, Ms. McCann.

Sports, Clubs, & Organizations | 2024-25
We have an awesome variety of activities for your student(s) to get involved with this year. There is an activity for every student to enjoy. Encourage your student to join a sports team and an extracurricular club or organization. Joining at least one will increase your student's sense of belonging in our school community and will provide additional opportunities to enjoy friends. It is a great way for students to challenge themselves by trying a new activity or remaining committed to one. Click here to view the list of sports teams, clubs, and organizations.

Student Finance Announcements
If your scholar is participating in Advanced Placement (AP) classes this year, a notification was emailed to parents about the class fee. Each AP class costs $50 and is due by August 31, 2024. You can make your payment on our school website, your Tuition Management portal, or in the Business Office. If you have any questions or concerns, contact Ms. Alvarado (talvarado@collegiatememphis.org).
2024-2025 School Calendar
As you are considering traveling out of town and making appointments during the 2024-2025 school year, please plan around our school calendar. It is important that students do not miss school for appointments and travel. Absences during first and second semester exam weeks will not be excused.
AP Course Fees
We are pleased to offer AP Classes. Our scholars have been working hard on their classes and we offer these classes at a lowers cost. If your scholar is taking any AP classes this year, a $50 fee per class has been billed to your account. You can pay this fee on our website or in person. The AP Class Fees are due no later than August 30th.
Networking our CSM Talents
We would love to showcase our parents and their businesses. If you have a business that you would like other parents and staff to know about, complete this form and we will share it each week in our newsletter and with our Faculty & Staff. Examples include, but are not limited to: cosmetic industry, food service, yard service, legal service, carpentry, masonry, etc. This list will allow our CSM Community to support each other when we need to hire a professional.
