LAURA ST. PIERRE
Assistant Director
Ms. St. Pierre begins her twenty-eighth year with the Extended Day Program right back where she started. Laura spent her first two years at the Warren EDP with the first, second, and third graders. The following year, she joined the Pittaway Extended Day Program while advancing to the role of Head Teacher, and earned a promotion to Assistant Director after a successful seven years there.
In addition to her 28 years with EDP, Laura brings a variety of experiences with her, some of which include working as a lead teacher for Wee Folk Learning Center in Bellingham as well as a unit leader for Pilgrim Day Camp, Assistant Director for YMCA Scamper Camp, and a nanny for one child for five years. She also worked for the Ashland Rec Summer Camp.
Ms. St. Pierre graduated in 1990 from Fitchburg State College earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Spanish. She has also taken courses in American Sign Language and continued her graduate studies with the Museum Institute for Teaching Science in Boston, as well as studied Positive Discipline for Primary Grades and Bullying Strategies.
CAROL FERRIER
Teacher/Breakfast Bunch Head Teacher
Ms. Carol Ferrier may look familiar to many of you because, in addition to her time spent at the Breakfast Bunch each morning and our afternoon program, she is also an ESP at the Warren School during the school day.
Between her experiences in the classroom at the Warren and her studies at Becker Junior College in Worcester, Carol is well equipped to keep things running smoothly at EDP, and we’re happy she has decided to return for her fourteenth year as part of our team!
RUCHI PATHAK
Teacher
Ruchi joined the Extended Day team four years ago! Ruchi arrives at our program with great passion and enthusiasm for learning and adventure. She is dedicated to helping students identify and enhance their unique potential both academically and personally.
Ruchi began her journey in Education in New Delhi, India where she was a second-grade teacher for nine years. She then proceeded to teach Math and ELA for two years in the United States. In 2015, Ruchi came to Ashland and has worked in various roles ever since. EDP students may recognize her as she is a staple at the Warren school. This year she will be a special education teacher for a third year for the Warren School. We are very excited to have Ruchi work with our students at the Warren EDP!
LISA KANE
Teacher
Lisa is a long-time employee of the Ashland Public Schools and we are happy she is back at EDP for the start of a fourth year! Lisa has vast experience working in public school systems. She has previously held positions as a first-grade teacher, special education teacher, substitute teacher, paraprofessional, and educational support personnel. This year, she will be a kindergarten ESP in room 4!
Lisa enjoys leading groups of students in educational and recreational activities as well as crafting. She is looking forward to bringing her artistic abilities to EDP. She will be joining Breakfast Bunch on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays!
DONNAMARIE MCGLYNN
TEACHER
We are thrilled to welcome Mrs. M. back to the Warren EDP team for a third year! Donnamarie brings with her many years of experience working with students of all ages. Currently, Mrs. M. works as an ABA-ESP during the day here at the Warren School. Donnamarie has held various positions in public and private schools, including Director, Lead Teacher and special education paraprofessional.
When Donnamarie is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, as well as her dogs and cats. Mrs. M. is from New Jersey originally, and travels to NJ to see her relatives as much as she can.
ISABELLA SCHAIER
BREAKFAST BUNCH TEACHER
EDP welcomes Isabella for her first year at the Warren School!
Isabella will be a teacher during our Breakfast Bunch program on Mondays and Fridays. Ms. Schaier previously worked at Seven Hills Foundation, and this year she will be an ABA ESP in room 31. We are looking forward to getting to know Isabella this year!
TAYLER BODIO
Director
Prior to joining us in Ashland IN 2021, Tayler was the Program Manager in Milford for their Community School Use Program. She has vast experience managing community programs including Extended Day, adult and children’s recreational and educational programs, town-sponsored sports teams, and much more! Her unique insight into Extended Day programming excites us. She started working as an aide in high school and continued through the ranks ultimately leading her to the Director position here.
Tayler graduated from Framingham State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. In past years she has continued her education through the Massachusetts Recreation and Park Association. She expanded her knowledge base by joining the Network of Extended Day Directors.
You can find Tayler outside enjoying time with her daughter, Mia, her husband Mike, and her dog Benny. She also enjoys trying new restaurants, testing new recipes and taking fitness classes of all kinds.
LAURIE NANOS
Teacher/Acting Head Teacher
Ms. Nanos returns for her twenty-fifth year with the Extended Day Program! In addition to her time with the EDP, Laurie serves as a teaching assistant in the kindergarten. Parents and first grade students who enjoyed working with Mrs. Nanos in the kindergarten will be pleasantly surprised to see her at the Warren Program. It’s always nice to see a familiar face, and we are thankful for the consistency and stability that Laurie brings to our program. Many of you may be familiar with Laurie since she owned and operated her own family day care in Ashland for 10 years. Prior to that, she had been a teacher or teacher's assistant since 1979, teaching for such programs as Head Start in Framingham, Four Season's in Ashland, and F.A.C.E. Child Care Center in Natick. She also has been a room parent, PTO member, Girl Scout leader, and member of The Holliston Association of Child Care Providers.
Ms. Nanos graduated in 1981 from Massachusetts Bay Community College in Wellesley with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. Since that time she has continued her studies with such coursework as Summer Science for Kids, Storytelling, and Health and Safety in Child Care. Laurie takes care of her granddaughter in the mornings, and comes to EDP for the afternoons.
SUSAN FARANDA
Teacher/Breakfast Bunch Teacher
Susan Faranda returns for her tenth year as part of the EDP family, working with our Breakfast Bunch students. She also will be working in the afternoons as a Warren EDP teacher. In addition to starting and ending her days with us, she is well known to the Warren EDP students because she also works as an ESP at the Warren School during the day.
In Susan's words, “I absolutely love it. The children just brighten my day as well as I like to brighten their day.” We are thrilled to have her with us and look forward to the enthusiasm and creativity she brings to the program!
MAUREEN FLANIGAN
TEACHER
Warren EDP welcomes back EDP teacher and currently retired kindergarten ESP Maureen Flanigan! Maureen was an ESP in the Ashland Public Schools for 19 years before retiring in 2021. She also worked at EDP from 2013-2019 but just couldn’t stay away. Mrs. Flanigan is back on Monday afternoons! Warren EDP is excited to have her sparkle and creative flair back in action. When Maureen is not at EDP, she enjoys taking care of her two grandchildren!
MARYELLEN SHOREY
TEACHER
EDP is thrilled to have Mrs. Shorey join us on Monday afternoons for a forth year! Recently retired, she worked in the Ashland Public Schools for 24 years as a kindergarten ESP. Maryellen truly missed being around children, so when asked to be a part of the afternoon EDP, she was more than happy to come aboard. Mrs. Shorey's kindness and compassion for kids makes her a perfect match for EDP! She enjoys spending time with her grandson when she is not golfing or reading.
ABBIE KANE

Many of you may recognize Ms. Kane because she is an EDP teacher at our our kindergarten program at Pittaway! Abbie attended Framingham State University and has spent her summers working at Summer Discover Camp. This is where she developed her passion for working with students. Ms. Kane would lead groups, organize activities, and get lost in the excitement of learning! In addition to working at Pittaway in the afternoons, we are thrilled to welcome Abbie to Breakfast Bunch for all five mornings!
