The last two Tuesdays have been exciting at Warren EDP! As part of EDP's enrichment, we welcomed the "Science on the Go-Dig In" program by The Children's Museum of Easton. The students were able to become junior paleontologists for the afternoon! They learned about the dinosaurs that roamed the earth millions of years ago, compared their feet to the size of dinosaur feet, related the size of certain dinosaurs to objects around them, and participated in their very own "dinosaur dig", where they "unearthed" different dinosaur fossils using different types of tools. It was dusty, dirty and definitely a lot of fun. The children were able to go home with their fossil kits as well as free passes to the museum. It was a "dino"mite way to brush up on dinosaur and fossil facts!
