Mindess EDP students sit quietly during a practice fire drill as EDP staff take attendance and a head count. Since children leave the program periodically throughout the afternoon, this procedure is an important part of making sure that everyone is accounted for in the event of an emergency. Real fire drills with the Ashland Fire Department will take place in the coming weeks.
