Volunteering at Pittaway EDP

Sixth graders from the Mindess EDP visit the Pittaway EDP as part of a volunteer program.  Some of the 6th graders were students here in Kindergarten many years ago!  During their six weeks here, the 6th graders have a blast with the Kindergarten students.  They play together at recess and often initiate tag games.  During our center time, the 6th graders assist with our gym and project Sessions.  These sixth graders have already helped the teachers by making a craft example to show future groups.  They've also taken care of "sick" kids in our Dramatic Play area!
