Wild and Wacky World of Weather!

We can't think of a better way to kick off a weather and meteorology unit than with  a weather presentation by veteran WBZ-TV 4 meteorologist Barry Burbank!  Mr. Burbank talked about tornadoes and hurricanes, how they are formed, thunder and lightning and storms, answered students' questions, and shared a fun dvd about working as a meteorologist on the WBZ weather team.  The children learned that his favorite type of weather is snow-he loves snow!  Imagine that.  Thank you, Barry Burbank, for sharing your fun stories with us as well.  We are still wondering if you really can fly...?
