Hidden Talent

One of the nice things about an afternoon at EDP is the time and space to explore and create. This bird is the creation of 4th grader Gina M. who has the ability to see things in her imagination and bring them to life.

This drawing on the white board started as a wolf (can you see the remnants of its snout in the lower center?). Gina started with the eye and moved out from there. Once the wolf was finished, she decided the fur would work better as feathers, whereupon she erased the snout and drew a beak. 

Everyone who watched was in awe, but she did this as easily as most of us breathe. Bravo, Gina!
