Coming Full Circle

Sixth graders from the Mindess EDP visit the Pittaway EDP as part of a Teacher "Aide" volunteer program.  Most of the 6th graders were students here in Kindergarten many years ago!  Some even remember their way around our school!  It's a lot of fun hearing their I remember when...stories.  During their six weeks here, the 6th graders have a blast with the Kindergarten students.  They play together at recess and teach each other different games.  The 6th graders read to the younger children.  At snack, the 6th graders share advice on what it's like to be a "big kid."  In addition, the 6th graders assist with our gym and project Sessions.  Some 6th graders have even offered to teach a lesson!  

It is so neat having these 6th graders come back home to Pittaway EDP!
