Mindess EDP's first field trip of the year was a howling success! As part of a month long thematic unit on wolves, seventy-six children made their way to Wolf Hollow, a wolf sanctuary in Ipswich. We met the members of the wolf pack and learned about alpha, beta, and omega wolves, wolf communication, and even tried to have a conversation with them with our own howling! Wolf Hollow is open to the public on weekends and is a great family outing, especially as the weather gets cooler and the wolves become more active.
One of these things is not like the others… Can you spot the wolf?
It seems even wolves enjoy Halloween!
