As part of EDP's evaluation process, a teacher implements a lesson for a supervisor/peer to evaluate. Here, Mrs. Pratt conducts a cooking lesson while Mrs. Briss observes her in the background.
Mrs. Pratt was able to find a cooking activity that was safe for ALL students to enjoy, despite all the allergies and dietary restrictions our students have.
Andrey gives the activity a very messy thumbs up! During the activity he said, "Sometimes baking is messy, but this is fun!"
No Bake Brownie Batter Bites Recipe (Allergy friendly, Vegan and Gluten Free)
10 tablespoons cocoa powder
6 tablespoons maple syrup
1/4 cup sunbutter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
2-4 tablespoons dairy free chocolate chips
2-4 tablespoons water
Step 1:
Add cocoa powder, maple syrup, sunbutter, vanilla, salt, and water to bowl. Mix well.
Step 2:
Add chocolate chips. Stir.
Step 3:
Roll into balls.
Step 4:
Refrigerate to firm or eat as is!
