Our Mexican Fiesta on May 5th was fantastic thanks to the EDP staff, the children, and their families! Many thanks to parent volunteers and staff, who kept the children entertained with crafts and games. The children and their siblings were able to create Mexican Masks, make a piñata, decorate a wooden maraca, and get their faces painted, as well as play games like Pin the Tail on the Donkey, Bull Toss, Pyramid Race, and Jai Alai. Our Fiesta Feast consisted of tacos, veggie fajitas, and hot dogs. Dessert was provided by our generous families.
As parents, you hold the key to much of this success. The cooperation and support of all the Extended Day families make this night possible, and we couldn’t do it without you! Thank you to everyone who lent a hand running games and activities, making food, cleaning up, and the 100 other jobs necessary to pull off the Fiesta. Your dedication knows no bounds. Enjoy the rest of the school year and have a great summer!
