Whole School Responsibilities

In addition to School Council and Junior Leadership Team, we have a variety of other whole school responsibilities that we encourage children to apply for over the course of the year.

Some of these are permanent positions for the year, such as Eco Club, whereas others can be done on a flexible or temporary basis, such as reading buddies and Friends of Noel Park helpers.

Eco Council

Our Eco Council consists of two children per year group.

Their key responsibilities this year are:

- to collect recycling

- to turn off electrical appliances (computers, lights etc) in their year group classrooms

- to conduct weekly litter picks (both in the school grounds and in the area around the school

- to ensure the school allotment and Forest School are well looked after

- to discuss and trial ways to make Noel Park a more sustainable school

- take care of equipment that is provided for playtime

- inform staff on duty of any problems

- set a good example by caring for others and being big hearted
