Pupil Leadership

Noel Park's Pupil Leadership Structure

At Noel Park, children have an active voice within the school and are consulted about their opinions for how we can make the school, the local community and the wider world even better. We value our pupils' views and opinions and aim to give as many children as possible the opportunity to share and develop these over the course of the year.

With this in mind, we have developed a pupil leadership pathway which gives children the opportunity to gradually increase the level of responsibility they take on  as they progress through the school.

As children take on these roles, they are given leadership training to support them in developing key leadership qualities and skills such as teamwork, communication and presentation skills, strategic thinking and innovation. Our pupils can begin with being a class champion or a lead learner, responsible for a certain area of the class, and build up to being a member of School Council, the most high profile of our pupil leadership roles.
