AE gets credit for Self Registrations that sign up after a sales call using a self-registration link and convert to paying members.
Check & Balances: When a new member self-registers, Member Services checks to see if the following AE activity has occurred within 6 months (this list is subject to change and it will updated accordingly):

If there is activity within 6 months that meets the above criteria, Member Services will change the Salesforce record to Close After Contact to ensure the AE gets credit for the sale.
