Felix Mamrikov & DeLara Armijo

Are you thinking of running for president? Tough luck because these candidates are already thinking so for the 2020 election!

Let’s start off with the most popular candidate,  Joe Biden. He was rumored to run for the 2016 presidential run, but he declined and should be running this new election.

Next up is Bernie Sanders. He has recently told the press that he is “looking at” running for president. But he said “I haven’t made my decisions about anything.” His rival for the last presidential election was Hillary Clinton, however he lost to her in the Primary election of 2016.

Now a really big entrepreneur, Mark Cuban. He has recently stated that he is, “waiting what happens in the midterms.” Mark Cuban was a the former coach of the Dallas Mavericks and now he is an entrepreneur on Shark Tank. Who knows if another celebrity  will become president again?

Elizabeth Warren, the Democratic Massachusetts senator is teaming up with her fellow democrats to take down our current president for the 2020 election. The competition of democrats to help take down Trump is becoming larger and more fierce with each candidate. She has started in her campaign in a four city trip to Iowa this January.

Finally for the candidates, is Kirsten Gillibrand, New York senator. She is also considering to run for president as well. In 2020 she would give, “a long, hard thought of consideration,” for the election. She also said to Stephen Colbert in November 2018, “I’ve seen the hatred and division that President Trump has put out into our country, and it has called me to fight as hard as I possibly can to restore the moral compass of this country.”

When asked about his opinion for the candidates, Megh Patel, Marina 8th grader says, “Anyone is better than Trump.”

So who do you think will win the 2020 election? Ask your friends and family and discuss!
