High School Drug Use

Many high school students often use drugs as a way to relieve stress and be a addict after sometime. The most common drug is Marijuana for high school students. Students are also getting on a hold of e-cigarette and using marijuana. E-cigarettes typically contain nicotine. Many high schoolers use drugs often from depression, stress, or peer pressure. Many high schoolers across the world drive or have a car and with drug use they are more likely to crash their cars and harm others or themselves.

Some kids in schools come from bad family backgrounds, where their parents sell pot and more. Kids follow them and sell them at schools. Some students even live in bad neighborhoods and they would sell it to anyone no matter what age you are. Kids can get in contact with these growers and would keep buying and using or selling them. Even if you have a older sibling that smokes, once you follow into their steps you would be getting drugs from your sibling and using them. Weed can be grown anywhere and in any state legally so it is a higher chance they might be near you. You can’t tell if someone is a drug dealer or not, but once you get to know them you might eventually find out and get drugs from them. Most drug deals go on in or near schools and they don’t get caught. Sometimes the drug dealer would go where the student or the client would want. Jason Wong says “I think people who get caught with any type of drug shouldn’t get away with it”.

Drugs can take up your whole life. If you are addicted your daily activities would be ruined. Many students quit sports or quit doing fun activities at school because drugs had taken up their life. Students often after being addicted to drugs would be more of a bad kid. This includes harassing others, bullying, and hurting people.
