Fisherman’s Wharf is a popular tourist attraction in San Francisco. “I have been there and I love the views there.” says Melisa Muca (8th grader) Many families along with teens go there to explore. There are many things to do in Alcatraz ranging from mazes to restaurants. “I like it but it smells weird.” says Sadie Brown (7th grader)

   A fun place to go is the Aquarium of the Bay on Pier 39. It is a large aquarium with many sea animals ranging from clownfish to seals. Most of the creatures there are local to the San Francisco Bay. This aquarium focuses on ocean and freshwater conservation. The aquarium is a fun experience to enjoy with your family and friends since it shows you the beautiful creatures of the sea. Admission is for 13-64 year olds is $27.95.

From Fisherman’s Wharf, you can also take a ferry to the old and abandoned Alcatraz prison. Famous people like Al Capone and Machine Gun Kelly were imprisoned there. Rumor has it that the prison is haunted! It is fun to explore so you can see what criminals had to endure during their sentences. In Alcatraz, you can see the beds and the prison cells so it is quite possible to imagine what life could have been like due to the endless amount of artifacts present. Alcatraz lies in the San Francisco Bay.  Admission ranges from $17-$22.

 Boudin Cafe is a place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is most known for its sourdough bread and clam chowder. There are many things to eat here from pizza to tacos to sandwiches, the choice is yours! It is family friendly so big parties of people are happily welcomed! The good food will surely bring joy to your taste buds. Bring your family here for a meal and you will not be disappointed!

 Magowan’s Infinite Mirror Maze is a popular attraction in Fisherman’s Wharf. It is a great place to take photos. Teens come here for the photo opportunities. It is a fun adventure to share with your friends. It is located on Pier 39 and has an endless amount of arches, colorful columns, and mirrors. Don’t get tricked by the mirrors! Admission is only $5!

Head down to Fisherman’s Wharf for food and a continuous amount of fun! People there usually have a great time.
